The winner of the second Short Listening Period Contest of this year is the Dutch SWL Johan Heus NL9723 with a score of 4400. Second placed is the Ukrainian SWL Alex Gorbunov US-Q-73, scoring 2535, and third became Kees Schout NL294 with a score of 2366.

This year's first Short Listening Period Contest (SLP) was held in the last weekend of January.

The winner of the contest is Kees Schout, NL294, with a score of 4928. Second placed is Marc Stinkens, ONL4638, scoring 3216, and the third place for Johan Heus, NL9723, with 2496 points.

The winner of the SWL New Year Contest 2018 is ONL908, Anton Mandos, with a score of 270 points. Second placed is another Belgian SWL, ONL4638, Marc Stinkens, scoring 251 points. The third place is for the Dutch SWL NL9723, Johan Heus, scoring 159 points.

In the weekend of 28 and 29 October we had the last SLP Contest of this year, The winner was the Durch SWL NL6904 with a score of 30785. Second placed was NL294, scoring 16560 and the German SWL DE2HUG became third with a score of 8505. NL6904 is also the winner of this year's SLP Competition.

This year the 28MHz SWL Contest, sponsored by the VERON SWL section, will be held in the weekend of 9 and 10 December 2017. That is the same weekend of the ARRL 10Meter Contest.

Hopefully the propagation on 10M will be more favourable than in past Decembers!

The winner of this year's seventh SLP Contest, in the weekend of 14 and 15 October, is the Dutch SWL Sjuk Veenstra, NL6904, with a score of 7182. Second placed is Kees Schout, NL294, scoring 7095, and third became Johan Heus, NL9723, with 6201 points.

The winner of this year's 6th Short Listening Period (SLP) contest is the Dutch SWL Sjuk Veenstra, NL6904, with a score of 5978. Second placed is Johan Heus, NL9723, scoring 4264, and third became Marc Stinkens from Belgium, ONL4638, with a score of 3870.

The winner of this year's 5th Short Listening Period (SLP) Contest is Kees Schout, NL294, with a score of 11844. Second placed is Alex Gorbunov, US-Q-73, scoring 9375 and Helmut Grund, DE2HUG, became third with a score of 9317 points.

Sjuk Veenstra, NL6904, is still leading in de SLP competition 2017.
