3D2 - Dom, 3Z9DX will once again be active as 3D2AJT from Nadi, Fiji
Islands for 30-40 days starting on 18 March. The callsign is in
memory of the late Yasuo "Zorro" Miyazawa, JH1AJT, who passed away
on 23 March 2022. QSL via Club Log's OQRS.
CE0Z - Felipe, CE3SX will be active as CB0ZIX from Juan Fernandez from 21
March to 4 April. He will be QRV almost exclusively on 6 metres SSB
and FT8 (F/H). QSL via LoTW, traditional QSL cards will not be
available.
EA - The Union de Radioaficionados Espanoles, Spain's IARU member soci-
ety, was founded on 1 April 1949. Celebrating URE's 75th anniver-
sary, a month-long activity will take place from 1 to 30 April.

ER - ER30ARM is a special callsign celebrating the 30th anniversary of
the Amateur Radio Society of Moldova (ER1KAA). Look for activity
from 20 March to 30 April. QSL via the bureau, direct, and LoTW.
FM - Miguel, EA1BP will be active holiday style as FM/EA1BP from Marti-
nique (NA-107) from 23 March to 1 April. He will participate in the
CQ WW WPX SSB Contest as TO7O. QSL via LoTW, or via home call. [TNX

FT/G - Marek, FH4VVK will be active as FT4GL from Grande Glorieuse, Glo-
rioso Islands (AF-011) from 24 May to 19 June. The most recent
activity from the islands dates back to 2009 (FT5GA), and the Glo-
rieuses are currently ranked 8th on Club Log's DXCC Most Wanted
List. This one-man operation will be carried out in parallel with
Marek's professional activities. He hopes to be QRV daily with two
stations at the same time - one on FT8 and one on SSB or RTTY (he
lacks sufficient knowledge of CW to manage a huge pile-up). There
will be no activity on 6 metres, EME, or via satellite. QSOs will
be uploaded to Club Log on a daily basis; access to the Internet
will be available for two hours a day, from 18 to 20 local time.

I - Launched in 1904, the "Elettra" was a two-masted steam yacht that
Guglielmo Marconi used as a floating laboratory. Members of ARI
Loano (IQ1LA) & Marconi Club will be active as IY1EY on 1-14 April
to memorialize the experiments conducted in the Ligurian Sea be-
tween 1919 and 1936. QSL via IQ1LA.
I - Celebrating the 150th anniversary of the birth of Guglielmo Marco-
ni, members of ARI Asti will be active as IR1GM on 1-30 April. QSL
via the bureau, LoTW, eQSL, or direct to IK1XPK.
I - Members of ARI Venezia (IQ3VE) will be active as IR3POLO between 1
April and 30 June. The special callsign commemorates the 700th
anniversary since the death of Marco Polo, the Venetian merchant
and explorer who travelled through Asia along the Silk Road (1271-
1295). All QSOs will be confirmed automatically via the bureau.

PA - Laurens, PF3X and Barry, PC1K will be active as PA24WAAD from 23
March to 7 April for the World Autism Awareness Day. QSL via Club
Log's OQRS and LoTW.
PJ7 - Ken, KJ9B will be active as PJ7KB from Sint Maarten (NA-105) from
30 March to 6 April. He will operate SSB and FT8/FT4 on 20-10m. QSL

V4 - Pete, G0TLE will be active again as V4/G0TLE from St Kitts (NA-104)
from 23 March to 5 April. He will operate CW and SSB on 40-10m. QSL
via LoTW, or direct to home call; QSOs will be uploaded also to

From 26 March to 2 April, also look for V47NT (QSL via LoTW, or
direct to W2RQ), V4/K5ZD (QSL via LoTW) and V4/HA1AG (QSL via home
call) to be active from St. Kitts. They will operate CW and SSB on
160-10 metres, and will participate in the CQ WW WPX SSB Contest as
V47T (QSL via LoTW, or direct to W2RQ). TNX The Daily DX
VP5 - AF3K, KH6M and W2TT will be active from Providenciales (NA-002)
from 26 March to 2 April, including an entry in the CQ WPX SSB
Contest. Outside the contest they will operate SSB, CW, FT8 and FT4

IOTA DXPEDITION FUND: FURTHER NEWS ---> "IOTA Ltd reported in early Septem-
ber 2023 the creation of a DXpedition Fund to help reduce the costs of expe-
ditions to the rarer and less accessible IOTA groups" [425DXN 1688]. "Since
then the Fund has made a number of applicants very happy.
However we want to do more to encourage operations from groups where there
has not been a significant operation for at least 15 years. So in addition
to making grants to operations from IOTA references confirmed by less than
25% of IOTA members based on the last 10-year listing in IOTA's Most Wanted
List, we will also do the same for operations to groups confirmed by less
than 30% of IOTA members on the same list that have not seen an activation
for at least 15 years. It is estimated that these two categories cover some
250 IOTA groups.
The grant request should be submitted more than 30 days prior to the opera-
tion's start. The evaluation and grant process is based on various criteria,
including the rarity of the IOTA reference, the length of the operation and
number of operators, importantly the planned number of contacts, bands and
modes to be used, and the estimated expedition cost. Applications should be
addressed to dxp-fund[@]iota-world.org". [The IOTA Board and DXpedition Fund
