3D2/R - The 15 November-4 December DXpedition to Rotuma Island [425DXN
1728] will be signing 3D2Y, not 3D2Z as previously announced. The
on-site team (K4NHW, KD9LSV, LY7J, M0SDV, W2FQ and W6IZT) will
operate locally with three stations on 160-6 metres CW, SSB and
FT8. They will also participate in the CQ WW DX CW Contest using
a different callsign (TBA). In addition, two of W6IZT's NexGenRiBs
will be operated remotely by a multi-national team of young
amateurs. QSL via M0OXO's OQRS. See https://rotuma2024.com/ for
more information and updates.
CE - Members of Radioclub El Trauko (CE7DE), based on Chiloe Island (SA-
018), will be operating special callsigns 3G7CW (CW) and 3G7RLN
(other modes) throughout September, with a focus on the 17th. This
was the day in 1898 when Ramon Luis Norero put a wireless telegraph
system into operation across the Chacao Channel between Chiloe and
mainland Chile. Club Log's Live Stream has been enabled for both
callsigns. QSLs direct to CE7DE.
GJ - Tev, TA1HZ, will be active as MJ/TA1HZ from Jersey on 11-16 Septem-
ber, including participation in the WAE DX SSB Contest (14-15 Sep-
tember). QSL via LoTW; QSOs will be uploaded also to Club Log, eQSL
and QRZ Logbook.
Also active from Jersey will be Peter, ON8ZZ and Fred, ON8ZL on 13-

commemorate the 245th anniversary of the Battle of Savannah from 16
September to 20 October. QSL via N2OO; QSOs will be uploaded to
Club Log. In 1779, more than 500 volunteers from Saint-Domingue
(the French colony which later became Haiti), fought alongside
American colonial troops against the British Army during the siege
of Savannah, an encounter of the American War of Independence.
HZ - HZ94ND, 7Z94ND and 8Z94ND are the special callsigns for the Saudi
Amateur Radio Society (HZ1SAR) to celebrate Saudi National Day on
5-23 September. QSOs will be uploaded to Club Log. Based on the
number of lunar years, Saudi National Day commemorates the renaming
of the Kingdom of Nejd and Hejaz to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (23
September 1932).
National societies from Gulf Cooperation Council's neighbouring
countries are expected to join the celebrations and be active
around 23 September, including the Bahrain Amateur Radio Society

N5J --- > Authored by Don, N1DG, the Jarvis Island DXpedition wrap-up is on
https://jarvisisland2024.com/news/108-the-dxpedition-to-jarvis-island-n….
* All QSOs from donors and OQRS requests received by 31 August have been up-
loaded to LoTW. QSOs from future OQRS requests and donations will be up-
loaded on a weekly basis. Plans are to upload all remaining QSOs by the
end of the year.
* As far as IOTA is concerned, credit for OC-081 will only be issued for
contacts made with the five local operators (27,635 QSOs with 11,713
unique callsigns). "We broke out the IOTA logs from the local ops and gave
that to the IOTA team for their matching software", N1DG says. "The soft-
ware will do a cross checking", adds VE3LYC, "identifying the first con-
tact you made with one of the local team operators. Credits through LoTW
QSO matching will be available starting on 7 September".

QSL GALLERY ---> The large collection of QSL cards on Les Nouvelles DX's
website has been updated. Seventeen different galleries include 22,279 cards
for the ten Most Wanted DXCC Entities (2014-23), the 62 deleted DXCC
Entities, obsolete prefixes, stations from Maghreb from 1945 to 1962,
Allied Forces stations in Germany (1945-80), special stations commemorating
ITU and IARU, stations using the United Nations prefix (4U), Antarctic bases
and TAAF (Terres Australes et Antarctiques Francaises), amateur radio
"globetrotters", the various French DXCC island Entities in the Pacific
Ocean, the Indian Ocean and the Americas (1945-1969), pre-1945 countries,
French Departments and CONUS, plus a gallery for cards not accepted by DXCC.
Your participation is welcome: http://www.lesnouvellesdx.fr/galerieqsl.php.

SUPERFOX KEY APPLICATION ---> SuperFox keys are issued by the Northern Cali-
fornia DX Foundation: "A SuperFox key allows WSJT-X to operate in SuperFox
mode. It is tied to a specific callsign. A SuperFox key may be made avail-
able to the leader of a DXpedition activating a rare entity - or other oper-
ations that need to support very high QSO run rates using FT8. Examples
include (but are not limited to) highly desired IOTA expeditions, Grid
Square expeditions, or Special Event Stations. SuperFox mode is not intended
for casual use or contesting". See https://www.ncdxf.org/pages/sfkey.html
for the application form and more information.
It is worth noting, however, that the SuperFox software has been cracked and
digital signatures embedded in the SuperFox messages currently cannot be
trusted.
