As a preparation for future DXpeditions, Johannes PA5X (also C91PA) and
Gerben PG5M will be testing their two-station setup when operating LX/home
call from July 6-9.
Operation on 10-160 meters with CW, SSB and JT65. Lots of equipment has been
selected which need to be tested in real conditions. A set of BPF's have
been constructed for 9 bands, a pentaplexer will be used in combination with
a 5-band Hexbeam and vertical antennas for 30-40-80-(160) meters will be
made by using fiber poles of 12, 15 and 18 meters. Radios are IC-7300 and K3
with an ACOM and SPE 1.3K (if delivered in time) amplifier. A certain amount
of station automation will also be set up and tested.
